Description
No advective flow may take place through the copper plate as long s it is intact. Advective flow in the underlying concrete will be controlled by the hydraulic conductivity outside the plate as long as the cement is intact. However, fractures in the concrete can develop at any time causing advective flow in the bottom plate.
