Handling
Explanation of how the FEP is treated
Excavation/operation: Not relevant since engineered barriers are intact.
Temperate: Advection, dispersion, matrix diffusion, sorption, and radioactive decay included in integrated modelling using FARF31 and MARFA.
Periglacial: Advection, dispersion, matrix diffusion, sorption, and radioactive decay included in integrated modelling using FARF31 and MARFA.
Glacial: Advection, dispersion, matrix diffusion, sorption, and radioactive decay included in integrated modelling using FARF31 and MARFA.
Earthquakes: No credit taken for radionuclide retention in the geosphere i.e.geosphere far field is short-circuited.
