Description
pH is the hydrogen potential, a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution equal to the common logarithm of the reciprocal of the concentration of hydrogen ions in moles per cubic decimetre of solution. pH conditions will vary in time and place within the EBS.

pH conditions affect many chemical processes and parameters, including solubilities and sorption equilibria. Evolution of the cement buffer will lead to changes in pH within the supercontainer.
