FEP Effects
Description of FEP Effects
Local isostatic sea level rise (see FEP 17); vertical displacement; marine erosion; changes in stress field. Changes in gradient over host rock. Dilution capacity of aquifer changes. Increased deposition and increased thickness of sediments overlying the host rock; increased compaction. These changes may affect the porosity and hydraulic conductivity of the host rock, and porewater composition.
