Mandate

In support of the NEA’s efforts to contribute to the promotion of a system for third party liability and insurance with respect to nuclear damage, the WPNLT will:

  1. examine issues relating to the interpretation and application of international nuclear liability instruments to nuclear transport; and
  2. promote the exchange of legal information relating to nuclear liability as applicable to nuclear transport and the sharing of related experience among member countries.
