The library is given in the format of an AMPX-II Master Library Interface.
The source of microscopic data is JEF-1; 64 materials were processed with values of σp.
Many kinds of problems were encountered in processing JEF-1 (which adopts the ENDF/B-V format) with AMPX-II (especially designed to process ENDF/B-IV formatted data). For some nuclei, pre-processing tasks had to be performed in order to solve specific problems, e.g. format conversion of angular data from shortened ENDF/B-V format to explicit ENDF/B-IV. Most of the tasks could successfully be solved with the code CRECTJ5, while in some cases specific codes had to be written.
Keywords: group constants, joint evaluated file, thermal utilization.
