NEA-0866 BTPLOT BTSPEC EXSPEC

1. NAME OR DESIGNATION OF PROGRAM:  BTPLOT, BTSPEC, EXSPEC, ORDTAB, TABLST.

3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

A series of computer codes has  been developed for the retrieval and tabulation of spectral data from ENDF/B-IV, ENDF/B-V and ENDF/B-VI format decay data files. The  tabulations of the extracted data are ordered by nuclide, for alpha, beta, or gamma  radiation  spectra. For  gamma spectra  a listing, ordered by energy, may also be obtained. For beta spectra plots may be produced for individual nuclides.
EXSPEC extracts spectral data from decay data files in ENDF/B-IV, ENDF/B-V and ENDF/B-VI format for gammas, beta-, beta+, alphas, discrete electrons and X-rays.
TABLST lists a table of spectral data ordered by nuclide (as extracted by EXSPEC), for gammas, beta-, beta+, and alphas.
ORDTAB lists a table of spectral data, previously ordered by energy  via a standard sort/merge utility, for gammas and X-rays.
BTSPEC calculates the shapes of beta spectra.
BTPLOT plots beta- and beta+ spectra using PostScript.
