NEA-1264/03
To produce a 175-group covariance library for H-1 on a
VAX 8810 computer, the following CPU times were required: 2 min (ANGELO); 11min34sec (NJOY COVR); 1min14sec (LAMBDA run original 100-group data); 6min6sec (LAMBDA run 175 group data). NEA 1264/04: The lambda run with 175 groups took 19.5 minutes of execution time on VAX 8810.

8. RELATED AND AUXILIARY PROGRAMS

The program ANGELO2 to expand or collapse the cross-section covariance matrices from one energy group structure into another is included as well.
ANGELO2 interpolates covariance data linearly in lethargy to the group structure, as specified by the user. The output matrices are written in binary form.
