Scope of the PSBT Listserver

Concerns the joint OECD/NEA -US/NRC NUPEC PWR Sub-channel Bundle Tests Benchmark based on data measured by the Nuclear Power Engineering Company (NUPEC),  sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan.

Aims to:

  • facilitate exchange of queries from benchmark participants to the co-ordinators at the PSU Nuclear Engineering Programme and contact between all benchmark participants;
  • resolve difficulties in interpreting the benchmark specification;
  • announce details about workshops or ad-hoc meetings on the subject;
  • point to new data or information at the official PSBT FTP site;
  • establish an archive of Q/A that should minimise the number of unnecessary repetitions about clarifications that have already been made;
  • provide comments during review of benchmark reports.
Excluded will be topics that are judged not relevant to this scope.

More information can be found on the PWR Sub-channel Bundle Tests Benchmark web page.

Other rules

The list-moderators reserve the right to final determination of the appropriateness of a given posting or frequency of posting (present moderators are Kostadin N. Ivanov,  Hochreiter, Jim Gulliford and Mickael Laurent).

When replying quote only enough text from the original message to make your message meaningful. Lengthy messages with many levels of quoting waste bandwidth and are difficult to read.

Avoid when possible posting encoded files or file attachments to the Listserver. Preferred mode is ASCII. Provide web addresses for downloading reports rather than send them with the message. Enclosed coded files (Word, Html, Pdf) appear on many sites as garbled information.

If your response is of interest to only one recipient, send it via private e-mail.

Include your e-mail address somewhere in the body of your message so that people can respond to you directly rather than clutter the list.

Commercial postings are not allowed on the BFBT Listserver except for postings of meeting announcements and educational opportunities by non-profit and not-for-profit. Posts are not to exceed 25 lines.

E-mail accounts which bounce large quantities of error messages back to the Listserver can be un-subscribed. If you find that you have been un-subscribed, simply try re-subscribing.

Opinions expressed on the list are solely those of the individual authors unless otherwise indicated.

The PSBT Listserver archives are considered to be copyrighted by the list owner, but single messages belong to the message originators

If you have questions or problems with the PSBT Listserver that you cannot solve, e-mail wprs@oecd-nea.org, not through the PSBT mailing list.
