This listeserver was established following a recommendation made
by participants in the OECD-NEA International Reactor Physics
Experiments Evaluation Project (IRPhE) Technical Review meeting on
27-28 October 2004. The objective of the Expert Group is to:
compile high quality experiments for the International
Reactor Physics Experiments Evaluation Project (IRPhE).
Priority is given to experiments which the member country experts
recognise as being of particular value for their present and future
nuclear power programmes;
evaluate this data through review and by organising
technical review meetings. Take initiatives so that the final
evaluations may be adopted as an international
standard;
publish the resulting evaluations and make them available
through the NEA.
This listserver should be used to facilitate communication between
all those involved with the IRPhE compilation, evaluation and review.
Users may also be added who agree to provide feedback on the use of the
data and further evaluate it.
Topics not relevant to this scope will be excluded.
More information on the IRPhE Project can be found on the IRPhE webpage, including a request form for latest edition.
Other rules
In order to facilitate archive searches, the SUBJECT
in the message should contain at the beginning the name of the experiment discussed
in the message.
The list-moderators reserve the right to final
determination of the appropriateness
of a given posting or frequency of posting (the present moderator is:
Enrico Sartori).
When replying quote only enough text from the original
message to make
your message meaningful. Lengthy messages with many levels of quoting
waste
bandwidth and are difficult to read.
Avoid when possible posting encoded files or file
attachments to the IRPhE
listserver. The preferred mode is ASCII. Provide Web addresses for
downloading
reports rather than send them with the message. Enclosed coded files
(Word,
Html, Pdf) appear on many sites as garbled information.
Some messages will point to files that will be password
protected. Only members will be allowed to access these files.
If your response is of interest to only one recipient, send
it via private
e-mail.
Include your e-mail address somewhere in the body of your
message so that
people can respond to you directly rather than clutter the list.
Commercial postings are not allowed on the IRPhE Listserver
except for postings
of meeting announcements and educational opportunities by non-profit
and
not-for-profit. Posts are not to exceed 25 lines.
E-mail accounts which bounce large quantities of error
messages back to
the Listserver will be un-subscribed. If you find that you have been
inadvertently un-subscribed,
simply try re-subscribing.
Opinions expressed on the list are solely those of the
individual authors
unless otherwise indicated.
The IRPhE listserver archives are considered to be
copyrighted by the list
owner, but single messages belong to the message originators
If you have questions or problems with the IRPhE listserver
that you cannot
solve, e-mail to
not through the IRPhE mailing list.
