JEFF-3.1.1 evaluated data library

This release has been superseded.

The Joint Evaluated Fission and Fusion File (JEFF) is an evaluated library produced via an international collaboration of Data Bank member countries co-ordinated under the auspices of the NEA Data Bank. The JEFF library contains neutron reaction data, thermal neutron scattering law data, and incident proton data for transport calculations, as well as special purpose files with radioactive decay data, fission yields data, and activation data. The JEFF library combines the efforts of the JEFF and EFF/EAF working groups.

The JEFF-3.1.1 neutron reaction file has been updated in January 2009 (see JEFF report 22). However the thermal neutron scattering data and incident proton files remains as in JEFF-3.1.

The JEFF-3.1.1 library contains also special purpose files with radioactive decay data and fission yields data, respectively updated in November 2007 and January 2009 (see JEFF Report 20). The activation data file remains as in JEFF-3.1.

The complete JEFF-3.1.1 Library suite is in ENDF-6 format and contains:

Special Purpose files (links to data source):

The JEFF-3.1.1 library is provided in ACE format (neutron file only), and is available through the JANIS database.
