NEA Nuclear Data Week & JEFF Meetings

20-24 November 2017

NEA Headquarters, Boulogne-Billancourt, France

For the autumn 2017 edition of the NEA Nuclear Data Week, JEFF and the EC CHANDA projects (Solving Challenges in Nuclear Data) will host joint meetings at the NEA conference centre in Boulogne-Billancourt, with the aim to promote co-operation between experimentalists, evaluators and end-users of nuclear data involved in both projects.

The Joint Evaluated Fission and Fusion File (JEFF) Nuclear Data Library Project is a collaboration between NEA Data Bank participating countries. The JEFF library combines the efforts of its different working groups to produce a common set of evaluated nuclear data, mainly for fission and fusion applications. The JEFF project meets twice a year, in autumn and spring.

In conjunction with these meetings, the Subgroup 39 of the Working Party on International Nuclear Data Evaluation Co-operation (WPEC-SG39) will hold parallel meetings on November 20-21, followed by the kick-off meeting of WPEC Subgroup 46.
