3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

EASYQAD version 1.0 is a standalone Windows XP code system which facilitates gamma and neutron shielding calculations with user friendly graphical interfaces. It is used to analyze the radiation shielding problems.
It includes:
- 8 kinds of geometry types,
- various flexible source options,
- a common material library,
- various detector types.

EASYQAD 1.0 is based on the code QAD-CGGP-A (version 95.2), which is based on Point-Kernel method using the GP buildup factor.
