Calculates the parameters of the  cosine function that will best fit data from axial flux distribution measurements in a cylindrical reactor.

Determines the extrapolated height and estimates the associated errors for the computed quantities. When a computation has been carried out, it may be repeated after having omitted a specified number of measured points from the bottom end.
