3. DESCRIPTION OF TEST FACILITY:  Steady state steam generator test facility.

4. DESCRIPTION OF TEST

The test section represents in full scale the secondary side of 9 tubes of a SG type 51, with minimized wall effects and real support plates.  The range of parameters tested is for pressure 10 to 70 bars, mass velocity from 20 to 410 kg/m**2/s, and exchanged power up to 100% of nominal.  Both steady state and transient tests have been run and both hot and cold legs have been simulated.
