3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

STORM assesses solar flare radiation hazards to earth-orbiting vehicles anywhere in the geomagnetic field. Specifically, solar flare particle flux and associated dose rates are calculated theoretically as a function of  position in the geomagnetic cavity taking ino account the geomagnetic cutoff effect and the allowable radiation approach cone.
