Scope

The seventh workshop on Nuclear Measurements, Evaluations and Applications (NEMEA) focused on international collaboration in nuclear data by hosting the kick-off meeting of the pilot project of the Collaborative International Evaluated Library Organisation (CIELO). CIELO aimed at fostering nuclear data advances by using the joint expertise of the nuclear data community under the auspices of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency.

The NEMEA-7 target audience included CIELO participants and parties interested in international collaboration in nuclear data for applications.

NEMEA-7 aimed at reviews of status, planned and completed contributions and related developments for the CIELO pilot isotopes (¹H, ¹⁶O, ⁵⁶Fe, ²³⁵U, ²³⁸U, ²³⁹Pu). The workshop further aimed at in-depth discussions on nuclear data issues such as those projects tackled by the EC like ANDES, ERINDA, EUFRAT and CHANDA, and those of the OECD/NEA.
