GAMDAT-78 is a comprehensive collection of gamma ray decay data of radionuclides. It contains the following information and data:
1. All radionuclides known until 1977
2. Their half-lives
3. Their daughter nuclides
4. Their long-lived precursor nuclides (parents)
5. Their genesis or mode of artificial production
6. References to where the gamma-ray data have been found
7. The energies of the gamma-ray and X-ray lines
8. The abundances (intensities) of the gamma-rays and X-rays.
