3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

PCROSS calculates cross sections and emission spectra of particles and gamma rays in neutron induced reactions up to incident energies of 25 MeV.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

The latest developments in the statistical pre- equilibrium model are used. For the high-energy tail of the emission spectra and excitation function calculations a combination of the Exciton model and direct reaction parametrization was used. Several models for level density calculations are available.

The 4 test cases included in this package were executed at the NEA-DB on a 66-MHz PC/80486 in less than 2 minutes.
