MASCA Seminar 2004

The seminar was intended to provide an in-depth review of the MASCA Project progress of the technical capabilities, results and analyses that have been produced during the project execution. The progress since the RASPLAV Project in the area of the in-vessel corium pool behavior was highlighted. The applications of the results and their significance for severe accident analysis to power plants were also addressed. Relevant results of the complementary research carried out at various laboratories were also presented. The seminar consisted of five sessions organised as follows:
