The OECD-IAEA Paks Fuel Project was established in 2005 as a joint project between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA). The IAEA provided financial support to the operating agent [Hungarian Academy of Sciences KFKI Atomic Energy Research Institute (AEKI)] and reviewed the progress of the project within the framework of the TC Project, RER9076 “Strengthening Safety and Reliability of Fuel and Material in Nuclear Power Plants”. Thirty (30) organisations from 16 countries participated in the project. The participants performed analyses of the Paks-2 event using numerical models based on a common database. The main results of the calculations are summarised in the present report.
