The NEA hosted a special launch webinar celebrating the publication of the Rising Stars Special Issue of Nuclear Technology journal.  

This milestone edition showcases peer-reviewed papers authored by participants of the first Rising Stars workshop, highlighting their research across the nuclear science and technology landscape. The Special Issue represents not only a significant academic achievement for the authors, but also the continued success of the Rising Stars programme in encouraging and empowering female future leaders in the nuclear field. 

Participants from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Rising Stars workshops were invited to attend and participate in the discussions, reinforcing the growing Rising Stars community. The event brought together members of the Rising Stars network and contributors to the Special Issue to celebrate their achievements. It also gave future applicants the opportunity to learn more about the programme and hear advice from Rising Star alumni.
