We found why. This due to a difference of neutronic model discretization with ERANOS and ECCO cell code. We change this and have a new set of C/E’s more consistent. We made changes in Chapter 5 to all tables... Is it fine with you Pino? It changes also adjustment results, especially for 238U inelastic. Anyway, this discrepancy is an interesting point that we try to speak about in chapter 7. The chapter 7 is a draft version, open to discussions and comments. As we said in a previous mail, dealing with posterior covariances was/is/will not be easy. We do not finalize this part because several GBytes of data is a problem. It would have been very helpful to have plots... Furthermore, some conclusions of this chapter will slightly change (new CEA results). We decided to send you anyway this draft and we will change figures (thanks to Emmeric) as soon as possible. We decided also to keep some personal comments in the document to share our questions... As a result, we looked back to our calculations and found a major problem for this experiment. The problem is not related directly to perturbations with ERANOS/SNATCH neutronic codes but is related to the interface (data flow) for adjustment calculations in CONRAD code and as a consequence on SG33 formats and results. A first glanced to new adjustment results having solved this interface problem show no major differences on major isotopes. So I think that ongoing writing of SG33 final report chapters are not going to be that much impacted, except Sandro’s sensitivity comparison. Anyway, we are recalculating everything: Phase I and II etc... and will send as soon as possible all results to Emmeric for updating SG33 website.
