AUTHOR (A.Caciolli, M.Chiari, A.Climent-Font, M.T.Fernandez-Jimenez, G.Garcia-Lopez, F.Lucarelli, S.Nava, A.Zucchiatti) REFERENCE (J,NIM/B,249,95,2006) INSTITUTE (2ITYFIR) Department of physics. (2SPNAUT) Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. (2SPNSPN) Parque Cientico de Madrid. (2ITYGVA) SAMPLE A multilayered C/LIF/Au sample was used for the cross section measurements. A thin lif film (about 50 mug/cm2) was evaporated on a self-supporting C target (about 30 mug/cm2) and further coated with a thin Au layer (about 20 mug/cm2) for beam dose normalization; the gold layer could also prevent lithium fluoride from being oxidised. MONITOR (79-AU-197(P,EL)79-AU-197,,DA) DETECTOR (SIBAR) A silicon surface barrier detector of 50 mm2 area, 500 mumeters thickness and 12 KeV FWHM energy resolution. FACILITY (VDGT,2SPNAUT) The HVEE 5 MV Tandetron accelerator METHOD (SITA) See sample. (EXTB) During the measurements proton beam currents were in the range 10-40-Na, depending on beam energy, in order to keep the count rate low enough to have negligible pile-up effects (<0.5%). Each measurement was allowed to continue until obtaining at least 2000 counts in all the elastic scattering peaks. HISTORY (20060729C) S B (20060727R) Data tables were received from DR.M.Chiari (20070515U) Last checking has been done. STATUS (TABLE) ERR-ANALYS (EN-ERR) Upper limit of beam energy uncertainty. (ANG-ERR) The spread in the scattering angle due to geometrical effects. (ERR-1) The contributions to the error in the cross-section value from rutherford cross-section on Au.
