ENTRY B0142 20011220 SUBENT B0142001 20011220 BIB 9 37 TITLE Production of be-7, Na-22, Na-24 and Mg-28 by Irradiation of Al-27 with 52 MeV Deuterons and 104 MeV Alpha Particles AUTHOR (U.MARTENS, G.W.SCHWEIMER) INSTITUTE (2GERKFK). Zyklotron Laboratorium REFERENCE (J,ZP,233,170,1970) (R,KFK-1083,1969) Numerical Data. FACILITY (ISOCY,2GERKFK) Primary Beam-Energy is 52 MeV For Deuterons and 104 MeV For Alpha-Particles, Current was About 1 Microamp. METHOD (EXTB,BCINT,STTA,EDEG) Energy Degradation in the Stack was Calculated According to C.F.Williamson Et Al., Cea-R3042(1966). Shorter-Lived Activities were Counted a Few Days, Longer-Lived a Few Weeks After Irradiation. CORRECTION The Charge Collected by the Faraday Cup was Corrected For the Dark Current Due to the Water Cooling of the Target and the Radio Frequency Pick Up. Corrections For the Energy Spread in the Target Foils Which were Small in Comparison to the Energy Uncertainty were not Applied. No Corrections For Beam Particle Losses Were Applied. ERR-ANALYS 1. The Overall Systematic Error in the Cross Section Scale was 2.5% Containing Uncertainties in Target Thickness (0.6%), Current Integration (1%), Detector Efficiency (1 TO 2%). 2. The (NOT LINEAR) Error in the Energy Scale is Delta-E(E)=12.5 MeV**2/E and 50 MeV**2/E For Deuterons And Alphas, Respectively. The Losses of Beam Particles Due to Reactions in the Target Amount Up to 5%, But Were not Corrected. HISTORY (19800521C)Lakw (19940720A) Some Corrections have Been Included by CAJAD (19981123A) Reaction Lines are Corrected. Data Headings Are Changed. Converted to Lower Case. (20011108U) Last checking has been done. ENDBIB 37 NOCOMMON ENDSUBENT 40
