3. DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM OR FUNCTION

R101 solves the space- independent, one-energy group reactor kinetics equations to determine the time variation of neutron density given specified initial conditions. Any of four programmed representations of excess reactivity can be selected.

The method of solution was originally described in ANL-5577.

Less than 30 seconds was required to compile  and execute the sample problem.

An interrupt facility is incorporated which permits parameter changes and edit or termination when a specified value of a parameter is attained.
