3. NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED

A system of N linear equations derived from the Laplace transform of a set of linearized differential equations is solved for amplitude and phase angle as a  function of frequency.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

For each frequency the coefficient matrix and its Crout reduction are used as constants for iterative refinement of the solution vector.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM:  N must be less than or equal to 70.

6. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

For N = 44 and two frequencies the total time  is 2.34 minutes. Loading of program and data cards and printing used 1.5 minutes.
