3. DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM OR FUNCTION

The  FOG program  solves  the
one-dimensional  few-group diffusion  equations  in  any of  three
geometries slab,  cylinder, or  sphere.  Provisions  are made  for
calculating the  flux, the adjoint  flux, and  various criticality
searches  as   well  as   a  buckling   iteration  and   automatic
Tschebyscheff  polynomial  computation   of  source  extrapolation
factors.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM

   Input data must be macroscopic.
   Scattering is limited to the next lower group.
   1 to 4 energy groups are permitted.
   Maximum number of mesh points = 239.
   Maximum number of regions = 40.
