3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

MCDSIM simulates atmospheric tracer dispersion under variable meteorological or source term data over complex terrain.

4. METHODS

Monte Carlo method. The theoretical treatment of turbulent dispersion is based on the Langevin equation, but simplified Gaussian treatment is also available. For describing the atmospheric turbulence an approach based on the scaling theory is used. Dry and wet particle deposition is treated.
