  FORMAT: GAM2

NUMBER OF GROUPS: 100 group cross sections for neutron activation and transmutation reactions (0-20 MeV energy range).

NUCLIDES: 729 target nuclides (almost all stable and unstable nuclides with half lives exceeding one day).

ORIGIN: based on a complete revision of the previous activation library and is based on EAF-1.

The EAF contains cross sections for neutron induced reactions (0-20  MeV energy range) mainly for use in fusion reactor technology. The present version contains cross-section data for all target nuclides which have half-lives longer than 0.5 days including up to curium (60 targets). Cross-sections for isomeric states are listed separately and if the isomers have a half-life longer than 0.5 days they are also included as targets. The EAF-3 contains 729 target nuclides with 12899 reactions with non-zero cross-sections below 20 MeV. A provisional uncertainty file has been generated for all reactions in a one-energy group structure for threshold reactions and in a two-group structure for (n, gamma reactions. The error estimates for this file were adopted either from experimental information or from systematics. The GREAC and GEAF data file contains 100 group (GAM2) cross sections for neutron activation and transmutation reactions for use in fusion reactor technology. It contains cross sections for almost all stable and unstable nuclides with half lives exceeding one day.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

REAC-ECN-4 is a revision of the original REAC file produced by F.M. Mann (1). In this revision the cross sections  have been renormalized to experimental data at 14.5 MeV or to data from 14.5 MeV systematics. It also contains additional reactions missing in REAC. Cross sections for reactions leading to isomers are stored separately.
ZZ-GEAF-1 is based on a complete revision of the previous activation library and is based on EAF-1.
