3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

An integro-differential trans-  port equation in three-dimensional x-y-z geometry.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

The three-dimensional transport calculation is  performed on the basis of the discrete ordinates method with the diffusion synthesis acceleration technique.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM

Variable dimension-  ing is used so that any combination of problem parameters leading to a container array less than LIMIT can be accomodated.

6. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

An 8-group, S8, 16x16x12 meshes, keff calculation of a FBR model requires about 2 minutes on an ACOS 1000  computer.
NEA 1087/01: The test case included in this package has been executed at NEA-DB on a VAX 8810 computer in 20 seconds of CPU time.
