4. METHOD OF SOLUTION
1. The thermal average cross sections are given in Westcott's Convention, except for total and elastic scatter for which simpled Maxwellian averages are used.
2. Epithermal integral cross sections are conventional resonance integrals except for elastic scatter for which the resonance integral is divided by the lethargy interval.
3. A fission spectrum of Walt-Cranberg form and mean energy 2.0159 MeV is used.
The ranges of integration for cross-section averaging is as follows (in MeV):
Thermal average: 1.0E-11 to 1.01196E-6
Epithermal average: 5.5E-7 to 2.0 E+0
Fission spectrum average: 1.0E-3 to 2.0E+1
