3. NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED

Regular and adjoint multigroup diffusion equation in r-z, x-y, r-theta, slab, cylindrical, spherical, hexagonal and triangular geometries with various reflective and cyclic boundary conditions. A comprehensive collection of edits is available as specified for CRAM and SCRAMBLE.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

Two methods are available, the CRAM method or the PDQ method.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM

CRAM method:
   (12+NDSCAT)*NG*JMAX  must be less than 30000
PDQ  method:
   (6+NDSCAT)*JMAX*IMAX must be less than 30000
   where NG is the number of groups,
   NDSCAT the number of down - scatters and
   IMAX and JMAX are the number of points in x and y directions.
