3. NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED

Calculates the isotropic and linearly anisotropic coherent elastic neutron scattering cross sections in an isotropic polycrystalline solid with close packed hexagonal lattice structure. The output can be for an energy point or energy group mesh.

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM

The array sizes can be increased fairly easily. Currently it calculates data in up to 42 energy groups.

6. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME:  29 minutes (ICL 470) to produce data in 30 energy groups.
NEA-0481/02
NEA-DB ran the test case included in this package on a  DEC VAX 11/780 computer in 11 minutes of CPU time.
