3. NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED

The time-dependent multigroup 1-dim, 2-dim, or 3-dim diffusion equation with heat transfer and feedback is solved using the quasi-static method.

A shape function is calculated at a series of time intervals. The point kinetics equations are used to give an amplitude factor between these intervals.
