3. NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED

Starting with a top boundary source, volume distributed first collision sources in r-z geometry are calculated.
top ]
4. METHOD OF SOLUTION:  Numerical integration of the integral transport equation.
top ]
5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM

The program uses dynamic storage allocation technique. Therefore, restrictions are only imposed by the main storage and extended core storage (ECS) available.
top ]
6. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

About 200 seconds CPU for 5 energy groups, 320 intervals, 77 angular directions, and a highly specific boundary source geometry.
top ]
7. UNUSUAL FEATURES: UNUSUAL FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM
top ]
8. RELATED AND AUXILIARY PROGRAMS

The program generates a first collision source tape for input to the 2-dimensional discrete ordinates program DOT.
