3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION
NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED. One-dimensional diffusion equation programme in slab, cylinder or spherical geometry, specially designed for the criticality calculations of fast reactor which consists of two-region lattices. It calculates effective cross sections, which will be used as the coefficients of the equation, from the library data of JAERI-Fast set with 25-group structure. The criticality adjustment can be done by adjusting the thickness of one of regions. Adjoint equation can also be solved.
4. METHOD OF SOLUTION
The central difference approximation is adopted for the differential coefficients. The three points difference equation is solved by the ordinary set of two points recurrence formulae. An approximate method is used to take heterogeneity effects into account in estimating effective cross sections of each nuclide in a region.
5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM
