3. NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED

Solves periodic problems about the kinetics of pulsed reactors or problems where the reactivity has rapid variations. The program uses two constant steps for the integration of the system of differential equations, the first step  during the first half-period and the second step during the second half-period. Available for either single or double precision.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

The differential equations are integrated using  the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method as modified by E.R. Cohen (Geneva Conference, 1958).

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM

The maximum number of differential equations that can be solved simultaneously is 50.

Depends upon the case and the precision. A typical case takes about 1 minute for a pulse using single precision.
