NUMBER OF GROUPS: 50 neutron groups - 25 gamma-ray groups coupled cross section library.

NUCLIDES: H, He, Li, Be, B, C, N, O, Na, Mg, Al, Si, K, Ca, V, Cr,  Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Nb, Mo, Pb, Th, Pa, U, Pu, Am, Cm.

  ORIGIN: ENDFB-IV for neutrons and DLC-7E data for photons.

WEIGHTING SPECTRUM: From 15 MeV to 0.00001 eV have been derived with a 1/E fission,1/4 thermal Maxwellian spectrum weighting option. A 1/E spectrum has been used between 15 MeV and 10 MeV and also between 674 keV and 0.1264 eV. The fission spectrum is taken between 10 MeV and 674 keV. Below 0.1264 eV, a Maxwellian spectrum is assumed.

ZZ-BARC75 is a 50 neutron groups - 25 gamma groups coupled cross section library for 42 reactor nuclides. The group cross sections have been derived from evaluated ENDFB-IV cross sections for neutrons and DLC-7E data for photons. The library is well suited to carry out safety, shielding, and core physics studies of fission or fusion reactors. The data are also adequate for oil logging and mineral exploration investigations.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

Neutron group cross sections over the energy range from 15 MeV to 0.00001 eV have been derived with a 1/E fission, 1/4 thermal Maxwellian spectrum weighting option. A 1/E spectrum has been used between 15 MeV and 10 MeV and also between 674 keV and 0.1264 eV. The fission spectrum is taken between 10 MeV  and 674 keV. Below 0.1264 eV, a Maxwellian spectrum is assumed.
Photon interaction cross sections cover the energy range from 14 MeV to 1 keV and are derived with a flat flux weighting option. The  scattering moments are computed from the Klein-Nishina equation. Total, coherent, pair production, and photo-electric cross sections  are processed and included.
