3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION

SUPERTOG-LTT is a modified version of SUPERTOG which accepts elastic scattering anisotropy data either in terms of Legendre expansion coefficients or in the form of tabular values of the actual density function. SUPERTOG-LTT thus can process all the materials in the ENDLF library as well as those in ENDF/B-IV.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

SUPERTOG-LTT calculates the Legendre coefficients of the density function from the tabular input values by an approximation by means of orthonormal polynomials.

6. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

The conversion procedure of anisotropy data from tabular form to Legendre expansion coefficients requires less than 15 % of the total running time of SUPERTOG.

NEA-DB executed the test case included in this package  on IBM 3090 and VAX-11/780 computers. The following execution times  were required: 9 seconds (IBM); 2 minutes (VAX).
