The data library contains a tabulation of dose-rate conversion factors for external exposure to photons and electrons emitted by  radionuclides dispersed in  the environment.
The data are used to estimate the gamma-ray and electron dose rates for various body organs (23) and for an "effective" dose rate  for air and water immersion and from ground-surface sources. The data are given for approximately 500 radioactive nuclides.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION

The data were computed by the CCC-536/DOSFACTER-DOE code from the DLC-80/DRALIST library of radioactive decay data for approximately 500 nuclides. They are used to estimate the gamma-ray and electron dose rates for 23 body organs and the "effective" dose rate air and water immersion and from ground-surface sources.

DOSDAT-R: Retrieval code to list Dose-Rate Factor Data.
This is the third widely-distributed compilation computed by the code DOSFACTER. The present data differ from DLC-79/DOSDAT II as follows: no body surface factors are calculated, "total body" factors are replaced by "effective" (weighted) factors, electron dose factors for the skin are calculated at several depths, and output format differs. Non-SI units are used.
