  FORMAT: ENDF/B-V format

  NUMBER OF GROUPS: -- (energy range is 1 keV to 100 MeV)

  NUCLIDES: Data are provided for elements Z = 1 to 100.

ORIGIN: ENDF/B-IV, photon interaction data (DLC-7F/HPICE) and newly evaluated data from National Bureau of Standards.

HUGO is a collection of photon interaction data in ENDF/B-V format.  Data are provided for elements Z = 1 to 100. Both cross section data (ENDF file 23) and coherent scattering form factors and incoherent scattering functions (ENDF file 27) are included as part of the same data library. The cross section energy range is 1 keV to 100 MeV.

6. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

The test problems for EDPHOT and COMP23 require 17 seconds of CPU time on the IBM 3081.

7. UNUSUAL FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM

There is additional information allowed in the dictionary of ENDF/B-V format: The parameter MOD can  be used to indicate that the data set for a particular reaction is carried over from the previous version (MOD=0), or is new (MOD=1), or has been revised (MOD>1) since the release of the particular version of ENDF/B-V.
