LOGISTICS AND PARTICIPATION IN THE WORKSHOP

Participants

As usual for OECD/NEA organized workshops, participation is open to experts from FCF operating organisations, regulatory authorities and their technical support organisations, FCF designers and vendors, and industry associations and observers from OECD NEA member countries.

Nominations for participation should be directed to the NEA Secretariat of the Workshop. Those wishing to make a presentation at the workshop should submit an abstract with their registration form.

Papers

Participants wishing to present papers shall submit an abstract (between 200 and 400 words). All abstracts should be submitted by 30 November 2012 filling the online registration form. (Note: All abstracts should be submitted electronically, using MS Word and ”Times New Roman 11” font.)

The Organising Committee will review the abstracts, and authors will be notified of the result of the review by 15 February 2013. Specific instructions for the format of papers will be provided to authors. The paper length should not exceed 12 pages of A4 format including tables and figures.

Full papers should be submitted by 15 April 2013. Presentations of the papers should not exceed 20 minutes and should be sent electronically not later than 30 April 2013.

All participants have to register by 15 April 2013 by filling out the online registration form.

Registration fee

The registration fee for the Workshop is 340 euros per participant and will cover the cost of renting the conference hall and equipment, water/coffee, lunches, etc. Participants have to complete the Payment Form and return by 15 April 2013 by mail to:

All costs incurred by participants for travel, stay and daily expenses are the responsibility of the participant and are not borne by the NEA or GRS.

Location and accommodation

The workshop will be hosted by GRS and will be held in Munich, Germany, at Holiday Inn Munich City Centre Hotel, Hochstrasse 3, 81669 Munich, www.munich-meeting-centre.de.

Special rates were negotiated and 50 rooms were blocked with Holiday Inn Munich City Centre Hotel for the participants of this workshop.

Daily Room Rate: 124 euro (single), 154 euro (double room), breakfast included
Deposit Policy: Credit card number or advance payment for full stay at least 7 days before arrival.

Participants have to make their own reservation not later than 22 April 2013 by online booking.

Site visit CANCELLED

It was intended to organize a site visit on 24 May 2013, but due to security constrains it hasn't been possible to organise the site visit as initially planned.

Language

All presentations and discussions will be in English, and good command of the English language will be necessary to fully benefit from the workshop.

Workshop proceedings

Proceedings from the workshop will be published, and will include full papers and presentations from the Opening Session and all Technical Sessions, conclusions and recommendations from discussions in panel sessions and Summary and Closing Session of the workshop.
