Opening session

This will include presentations by the NEA and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to provide a framework of the Forum and a perspective of the current situation and the role of international co-operation. Additionally, a welcome statement will be made by the chair of the G8-G20 Ministerial Forum on Nuclear Safety which will be held on 7 June.
