The Working Group on Fuel Safety Margins has been set up by CSNI in accordance with the CSNI Strategic Plan to address the cross-cutting issues related to fuel behaviour in accident conditions, including the work on appropriate aspects of thermal-hydraulics, oxidation, chemistry, mechanical behaviour and reactor physics. It should be the centre for integrating the appropriate results from other Groups and Committees.
