Nuclear Law Committee (NLC)

The Nuclear Law Committee (NLC) is a highly focused group of specialists, comprising lawyers, policy makers, academics and from time to time, technical experts. Its terms of reference center upon the interpretation, implementation, improvement and modernisation of the international nuclear liability regime, primarily through a consideration of the Paris Convention, the Brussels Convention Supplementary to the Paris Convention and the Joint Protocol relating to the Application of the Vienna Convention and the Paris Convention. It also provides a forum for discussions concerning the development and harmonisation of legislation on other aspects of nuclear activity.
