After upgrading your JANIS software from version 3.0 or 3.1 to 3.2, if you try to connect to a local database which has been created with a JANIS version < 3.2 you will encounter this error message:
This is due to the fact that the database schema (structure) has evolved in version 3.2 (ENDF and CINDA) and that H2 databases (Local) created with version 3.0 are not compatible with the one provided in version 3.2
If you need to upgrade your database (the DVD 3.0 provided one, a personal one,...) to this new H2 version you can use a migration tool which is downloaded automatically by Live Update that you can find here: Migrate.jar and h2-1.2.127.jar (Download these files in JANIS software folder)
Once the files have been downloaded, issue the following command in the software folder to convert the old databases to the new H2 version:
java -classpath h2-1.2.127.jar;Migrate.jar org.h2.dev.util.Migrate ..\database
If you need to upgrade your database (the DVD 3.0 provided one, a personal one,...) to this new schema you can use two conversion scripts which are downloaded automatically by Live Update and that you can find here: upgrade_janis_base_3.0_to_3.2.sql and upgrade_cinda_base_3.0_to_3.2.sql (Download this script in JANIS software folder)
To use these scripts open a console/command prompt in the software folder of your JANIS installation and issue the following commands:
java -cp h2-1.2.131.jar org.h2.tools.RunScript -url jdbc:h2:..\database\cinda\cinda -user sa -script upgrade_cinda_base_3.0_to_3.2.sql java -cp h2-1.2.131.jar org.h2.tools.RunScript -url jdbc:h2:..\database\janis\janis -user sa -script upgrade_janis_base_3.0_to_3.2.sql
Depending on your settings you may have to specify the full path to the java executable.
You will also probably have to customise the underlined path, which is the path to the databases. In the command given above it's a relative path which follows the folders structure of JANIS DVD.
