Thermochemical Database (TDB) Project

Phase II

The purpose of the Thermochemical Database (TDB) project is to to make available a comprehensive, internally consistent, internationally recognised and quality-assured chemical thermodynamic database of selected chemical elements. This database should meet the specialised modelling requirements for safety assessments of radioactive waste disposal systems.

Phase II review groups

Phase II reviews:

  • Update of the existing reviews of U, Am, Tc, Np and Pu (published in 2003)
  • Simple organic compounds of U, Am, Tc, Np, Pu, Se, Ni and Zr (published in 2005)
  • Inorganic compounds of Se (published in 2005)
  • Inorganic compounds of Ni (published in 2005)
  • Inorganic compounds of Zr (published in 2005)
