Web Accesses to the Computer Program Service

During the last six years we have observed a spectacular increase of accesses to the information on the Computer Program Service:
Additional information on acquisition of new computer codes, distribution by client type and topics is provided graphically.

Computer Readable Computer Program Manuals

A major effort was devoted to transforming paper-based documentation into electronic form and to include it in the Master File system. Our plan is to distribute in the future all information concerning computer programs including manuals in computer readable form be it via Internet or on CD-ROM. The completion of the conversion of  manuals from paper form to PDF form (requires Acrobat Reader) is scheduled for end of 2002. More than half of the computer program packages are now in full computer readable form. This should then improve the response time to client requests.

Computer Program Abstracts on CD-ROM

A new edition of the Computer Program Abstracts on CD-ROM (based on ACCESS), will be distributed end of August / early September 2001.
