Note : All computer codes with
documentation are now distributed exclusively in electronic form either
on CD-ROM or via FTP. No paper copies of manuals
are provided.
For
more details see weekly updated list (on Mondays)
Update from the Thermochemical Database Project (TDB):
Simultaneously with the publication of the 2003 NEA TDB
“Update on the Chemical Thermodynamics of Uranium, Neptunium,
Plutonium, Americium and Technetium”, an
updated set of selected data for formation and reaction chemical
thermodynamic
properties was made available to NEA TDB Users on the NEA web pages.(under
“Available Data”)
These selected data for species and compounds (and reactions involving
them)
of U, Np, Pu, Am, and Tc are supplemented by files containing:
- the set of Auxiliary Data that have been used for the data evaluation
leading
to the NEA TDB selections, and
- for aqueous species, the set of specific ion interaction coefficients
used
for the extrapolation to zero ionic strength of the corresponding
equilibrium
constants.
This update should be borne in mind by those obtaining speciation codes
(and
derived database distributions such as HATCHES) from the Computer
Program
Service since in most cases the files provided with these codes or
databases
will not make use of the updated NEA TDB selections.

Integral Experiments Data for Model
and Code Validation:
The home page for Compilations and
Evaluations has been updated concerning the:
- The latest status of the International
Reactor Physics Benchmark Experiments Project
is given in IRPhE
. Here you can download a summary . Further information can be
obtained from Enrico Sartori (
sartori@oecd-nea.org)
- The International Fuel Performance
Experiments Database (IFPE) was recently updated with new
experiments (13 April 2004).
- The Shielding Benchmark Experiments
Database (SINBAD) includes now 33 Reactor Shielding,
21 Fusion Neutronics Shielding and 5 Accelerator Shielding Experiments.
The October 2003 SINBAD edition contains 10 new experiments.
- A new Edition of the CCVM (CSNI Code
Validation Matrix of Thermo-Hydraulic Codes for LWR LOCA and
Transients) is now available (January 2004).
- Experimental data and reports from recent
projects operated under the auspices of the Committee on the Safety of
Nuclear Installations (CSNI) have been added
to the Data Bank. (These comprise the CABRI REPNa
series , the SETH Project and the PSB-VVER
Project ). These data are subject to restrictions for
their distribution at this stage. The reports and data from the RASPLAV
project are now available to organisations from OECD member
countries and from the Russian Federation
